Hayes Court has been an established family run Care Home since 1967. With a 56 bed capacity it is the second largest care home in Croydon. It has been owned and run by the Sturgess family since inception and is currently managed by Dr M J Sturgess.
All residents rooms have en-suite facilities, some having their own wetrooms. Bedrooms also have access to digital television receivers and phone lines.
There are three large Victorian sitting rooms and two conservatories for the residents. The dining areas are seperate and split into two more intimate areas. All meals may be taken in rooms if desired.
Two passenger lifts provides access to all floors . One of these is designed to allow wheelchair users to access the lift without assistance if required. All communal areas are accessible to wheelchair users.
There are extensive grounds planted with mature trees and shrubs. Residents may access most of the garden in a wheelchair.
A full programme of events run by our activities Co-ordinator keeps our residents fully stimulated every day.
Three nourishing meals are included daily with a full menu available and hot food optional at every sitiing. Our cook Brenda with over 25 years service is complemented frequently on the quality of food provided. Snacks are available on request.
A full laundry service is included for all residents.
Quality of Care:
We are proud of the extensive facilites offered to residents at Hayes Court however we understand that the core of our resident's happiness will always stem from the care provided to them.
All staff employed at the home receive full NTO approved training and are assessed bi-monthly.
RGN's and NVQ qualified staff are always on duty to provide the depth of knowledge required to maintain the standard of care necessary.
